HSS is nationally ranked No. 1 in orthopedics for 16 years in a row and No. 3 in rheumatology by U.S. News and World Report (2025-2026), and HSS recently received its fifth consecutive Magnet designation, the first hospital in New York State to do so.
HSS seeks a driven Development Associate, Special Events (Associate) to provide support to both the Special Events team and the Communications and Stewardship team in all aspects of executing HSS fundraising, stewardship, and cultivation activities and events, including galas, benefits, celebrations, dedications, investitures, and major/planned gift campaign-related events as well as communication projects. The Associate will devote approximately 60% to leading the planning, coordination, and execution of events that advance HSS’s mission and engagement goals and approximately 40% of their efforts to advancing communications initiatives. This role is in-office with occasional work-from-home flexibility.
